TMC minister Shashi Panja, whose name appeared on West Bengal's adjudication list, criticized the Special Intensive Revision of the electoral roll. Over 60 lakh names were reviewed, with 45 percent deletions. Panja questioned why BJP would use this process if confident of winning. She cited issues like women's surname changes and spelling errors as reasons for deletions. Panja also raised concerns about LPG price increases and praised Mamata Banerjee's women-centric schemes.
