
A humanoid robot developed by Chinese smartphone maker Honor broke the world half-marathon record at Beijing's Yizhuang event Sunday, completing 21km in 50 minutes 26 seconds. The autonomous-navigation-equipped machine surpassed Ugandan runner Jacob Kiplimo's men's record of 57:20 and significantly outpaced human competitors. Robot entries increased from 20 to over 100 participants, reflecting rapid advancement in Chinese robotics technology.
