What Happened
Israel's military operations in Lebanon since March 2 have displaced over 1.2 million people, including 350,000 children. Israeli forces conducted more than 1,840 attacks, killing 1,497 and injuring 4,639 according to Lebanon's health ministry. Israel states it targets Iranian-backed Hezbollah strongholds. One in five Lebanese residents has been displaced. Israeli strikes damaged bridges and infrastructure, isolating communities and restricting access to hospitals and services.
