Indian domestic workers are gaining visibility and building audiences through social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube. Previously invisible laborers now work as content creators, documenting cooking, daily routines, and life skills. Examples include Bhagyashree with Archana Puran Singh, Dilip with Farah Khan, and Heena Ali who auditioned for MasterChef India. Despite growing followings and opportunities, many domestic workers report inadequate wages and limited brand collaboration payments.
