PDP leader Iltija Mufti visited the family of Rashid Mughal, killed in an Army encounter in Ganderbal on April 3. Mufti appealed to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to return Mughal's body, stating he was a PDP worker and local resident, not a foreign militant. The L-G ordered a magisterial inquiry to be completed within seven days. Mufti alleged Mughal was killed in broad daylight with weapons planted on him. She warned of street protests if the body isn't returned.
