What Happened

Noida International Airport, inaugurated by PM Modi twelve days ago, is 80% complete. The terminal building features locally sourced red granite floors and green architecture. A 3,900-metre runway is ready. IndiGo, Air India Express, and Akasa have expressed interest. Domestic flights expected within 45 days pending Airport Security Program completion. International and cargo flights projected by year-end. Terminal 1 spans 137,985 sq m with 48 check-in counters and electric vehicle charging stations.
