What Happened
Haryana Police's Special Task Force arrested gangster Sahil Chauhan at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport after his deportation from Thailand on Saturday. Chauhan, wanted in 16 criminal cases involving murder, dacoity, and illegal firearms, had jumped bail in 2024. The CBI located him in Bangkok using a Red Corner Notice issued in 2025. He used a fake passport to flee India after his release. This marks Haryana Police's fifth deportation this year.
