France arrests suspect over 1982 attack on Jewish restaurant

What Happened

French authorities arrested Mahmoud Khader Abed Adra, suspected of organizing the August 1982 Jo Goldenberg restaurant attack in Paris that killed six people and wounded twenty-two. Palestinian authorities handed him over to France Thursday following France's recent Palestinian statehood recognition. Adra was detained in the West Bank last September; two other suspects remain in French custody.
