What Happened

Renuka Harshwardhan Likhite, 25, a second-year MA Music student at a spiritual institute in Mulshi, Pune, was found dead in her hostel room on April 6 in a suspected suicide. Pune Rural police registered an Accidental Death Report and are investigating her phone communications and transactions. Initial post-mortem findings align with suicide. Likhite had not responded to family calls for two days.
