What Happened
A 46-year-old canteen guard at a residential school hostel in Jehanabad, Bihar was arrested for sexually abusing and murdering a five-year-old boy. The accused, identified as Mukesh, allegedly lured the victim to his room, abused him, then killed him fearing he would alert authorities. The boy's body was found on a hostel staircase. Police recovered the murder weapon and registered charges including rape, murder, and POCSO violations.
