Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal announced Yamuna cruise service will begin May 2024, operating between Wazirabad and Sonia Vihar. The 40-passenger vessel requires two-metre river depth. Infrastructure including jetties and retail stalls are under development. Delhi Tourism Minister stated the premium cruise will offer food, entertainment, music at affordable prices for domestic and international tourists.
