
Rajasthan's Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested former IAS officer Subodh Agarwal in New Delhi Thursday for allegedly orchestrating a Rs 20,000 crore Jal Jeevan Mission scam. Private firms submitted fake completion certificates to secure contracts. Agarwal allegedly modified tender rules requiring site visits, inflating bids by 30-40 percent and compromising confidentiality. Ten other government officials and one private person were previously arrested. ACB conducted multi-city search across twenty-one cities.
