What Happened
Ramakrishnan, 56-year-old Deputy Superintendent of Police attached to Narcotics Intelligence Bureau, died Thursday while performing election duty at Oddanchatram Assembly constituency polling station in Dindigul district. He complained of uneasiness at Idayakottai polling station; rushed to private hospital but declared brought dead. Body sent to Government Hospital Dindigul.
