What Happened
World Anti-Doping Agency chief Witold Banka stated India is the world's largest producer of performance-enhancing drugs. WADA is collaborating with India's Central Bureau of Investigation to dismantle illegal drug supply chains. India topped global sports doping violations for three consecutive years, with 260 positive tests from 7,113 samples in 2024. WADA's operations have dismantled 88 illicit labs and seized 90 tonnes of PEDs globally.
