What Happened
A seven-year-old girl living in a Manipur relief camp for three years was found dead in Imphal East district Monday. Police arrested 28-year-old Laishram Langamba. The girl went missing Sunday; CCTV footage identified the suspect. During interrogation, he confessed and led police to the body under a bridge. IDPs protested, demanding death penalty.
