What Happened
A Delhi court remanded Sarbjit Singh to eight days' police custody Tuesday following his alleged Monday breach of Delhi Assembly premises. Singh drove an SUV through gate No. 2, placing an artificial plant near Speaker Vijender Gupta's office. CCTV showed him on premises for five minutes. Police arrested Singh two hours later from Roop Nagar. A Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector from Assembly security were suspended.
