DeepL, known for text translation, now wants to translate your voice

What Happened

DeepL, a text translation company, released a voice-to-voice translation suite covering meetings, mobile conversations, and group settings. The company launched an API for developers and add-ons for Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The technology converts speech to text, translates it, then converts back to speech. DeepL plans to develop an end-to-end voice model. The service is currently in early access.
