What Happened
ClearBank Europe received approval from Dutch financial regulators to operate as a crypto asset service provider under EU's MiCA regulation. The bank, serving 270 institutional clients and 1.7 million individuals with $13 billion in assets, will offer euro and dollar stablecoins through Circle's platform. This enables fiat-to-stablecoin conversion in regulated banking. ClearBank plans digital clearing services across Europe.
