Chrome is finally getting vertical tabs

What Happened

Google announced Tuesday that Chrome users can now enable vertical tabs, moving tabs to the browser's side for easier reading of full page titles and tab management. The feature can be toggled by right-clicking and selecting "Show Tabs Vertically." Google also launched an updated Reading Mode for distraction-free reading. The moves reflect competition from Arc and other modern browsers. Vertical tabs work identically to horizontal tabs, supporting multiple windows and tab groups with no hard limit on open tabs.
