
Chipmakers AMD, Arm, and Qualcomm invested $60 million in UK-based self-driving startup Wayve, extending its Series D funding round to $1.2 billion. Wayve develops AI-based autonomous driving software compatible with multiple chip platforms. The company has secured customers including Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, and Stellantis. Wayve's technology powers assisted-driving and fully automated-driving systems for vehicles and robotaxis.
