What Happened
CBSE announced Class 10 examination results for 2026 on April 15. Of 24,71,777 appearing students, 23,16,008 passed, achieving 93.70% pass percentage, a marginal increase from 93.66% in 2025. Trivandrum and Vijayawada topped with 99.79% pass rates each. Chennai scored 99.58%, Bengaluru 98.91%. Delhi West and Delhi East recorded 97.45% and 97.33% respectively. Southern regions consistently demonstrated higher performance over five years.
