What Happened
CAF President Patrice Motsepe visited Dakar nearly one month after the organization stripped Senegal of its Africa Cup of Nations title and awarded it to Morocco. The controversial decision overturned Senegal's 1-0 victory in the January 18 final. Senegalese players walked off after Morocco received an added-time penalty. Senegal has appealed at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Motsepe stated he would respect the CAS decision.
