What Happened
A 17-year-old boy was apprehended in Chennai for assaulting a 28-year-old woman traffic constable at Vyasarpadi Market Junction. The constable stopped his scooter for wrong-side driving. An argument ensued, during which the inebriated rider verbally abused and physically assaulted her, causing injury. He was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board.
