Mumbai's Municipal Corporation is considering a pilot program deploying 50 Gen Z interns aged 18-25 to monitor potholes, garbage, and transportation issues. BJP corporator Tejinder Singh Tiwana proposed the 'Mayor Next Gen Civic Fellows Programme.' Interns would use mobile apps to report problems and receive stipends. The proposal targets 10 wards initially. Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde previously announced similar GenZ internship plans to increase youth participation in administrative processes.
