Assam Police visited Congress leader Pawan Khera's Delhi residence Tuesday to question him regarding a complaint filed by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's wife Riniki Bhuyan Sharma. Khera was absent. The four-member team conducted a two-and-a-half-hour search and collected documents. Khera had claimed Sharma holds three passports and undisclosed foreign assets. He faces charges including defamation and forgery. The incident occurs two days before Assam Assembly elections.
