
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 210-km Delhi-Dehradun Expressway on April 14, built at Rs 11,868 crore cost. The highway reduces travel time from 6.5 hours to 2.5 hours. A 10.97 km wildlife corridor includes Asia's largest elevated wildlife passage. Wildlife monitoring documented 40,444 images of 18 wild species using underpasses. The project planted 195,000 trees in compensatory afforestation efforts.
