Anthropic debuts preview of powerful new AI model Mythos in new cybersecurity initiative

What Happened

Anthropic released a preview of Mythos, its new frontier AI model, on Tuesday for cybersecurity use. Through Project Glasswing, over 40 partner organizations including Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft will deploy Mythos for defensive security work. The model identified thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities in software systems, many critical and decades old. Mythos is not available to the general public. Previously, a leaked memo described it as Anthropic's most powerful model yet.
