Amarnath Yatra from July 3 to August 28; registration opens April 15

What Happened

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced the 2024 Amarnath Yatra will run from July 3 to August 28, spanning 57 days. Registration becomes mandatory from April 15 through 556 bank branches and online on the Shrine Board's website. Pilgrims aged 13-70 years can participate. Two routes available: 48-km Pahalgam track and 14-km Baltal route. First puja scheduled for June 19.
