What Happened
A 16-year-old Class 10 student from Kerala went missing in Chandradrona hill ranges, Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka on Tuesday evening during a group tour of 40 members. She disappeared as darkness fell around 6:30 pm. Over 50 personnel from Forest Department and Fire Services launched search operations using drones and torches. The operation was suspended at midnight due to fog and poor visibility. Police resumed search Wednesday with intensified efforts across multiple teams.
