After five years, Rahul gets set to begin Bengal campaign; Priyanka to follow suit

What Happened
Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, starts his Congress campaign in West Bengal on Tuesday, his first in five years. Sister Priyanka Gandhi will also campaign soon. Bengal elections are scheduled for April 23 and 29. Rahul begins in Uttar Dinajpur, then Malda and Murshidabad. Congress won zero seats in 2021 elections. The party hopes to gain votes in Muslim-dominated districts and minority areas.
