Farmers protesting GMADA's Aerotropolis land acquisition have been on hunger strike since March 25, demanding written assurances. A meeting between administration and farmer representatives achieved partial agreements on plot allotment, corner locations, and fee waivers. However, farmers rejected the administration's proposal to increase residential area by 20 square yards and commercial area by 10 square yards. The core dispute over expanding the land pooling area remains unresolved. Farmers from Sekhanmajra village have also joined the protest.
