‘AC was not working, window was open’: 2-year-old flung out of car as SUV hits it from behind in Delhi, dies

What Happened
A two-year-old girl died Sunday after a Toyota Fortuner hit the car she was traveling in on GT Karnal Highway in Delhi's Alipur area. The child was sitting on a passenger's lap with windows open due to nonfunctional air conditioning. The collision's force ejected her from the vehicle. She was declared dead at the hospital. The SUV driver fled the scene. Police registered a case and are analyzing CCTV footage to identify the driver.
