What Happened
Samatha Kitchen, a newly opened cafe in Hyderabad, uses repurposed materials to create furniture and infrastructure. Discarded tyres become chairs and recycled plastic forms tables. The cafe operates under the Hope In a Cup model, providing employment to people from marginalised communities. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar inaugurated the establishment at Hyderabad District Collectorate on April 9.
