
Apollo Hospitals' Health of the Nation 2026 report analyzed over three million preventive health assessments in 2025. Eight in ten working Indians are overweight, nearly half have prediabetes or diabetes, and many have undetected conditions. One in five people under thirty are prediabetic. Seventy percent lack vitamin D. Two-thirds of young adults have at least one underlying health risk. Most conditions remain asymptomatic, requiring structured screening for early detection.
