73 Opposition MPs sign fresh notice to remove Gyanesh Kumar as CEC

What Happened
Seventy-three Opposition MPs from INDIA bloc parties submitted a notice in Rajya Sabha on Friday seeking removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. They levelled nine charges including partisan enforcement of Model Code of Conduct and conduct unbecoming a constitutional functionary. Congress MP Jairam Ramesh called his continuation an assault on Constitution.
