The accused, aged 24-27, ran paid social media advertisements targeting US and European users. They convinced victims their devices were hacked, deployed malware, and extorted USD 300-2,500. Police recovered laptops, phones, and routers. The group operated for two months, converting stolen money to cryptocurrency through hawala networks.
