
A 44-year-old man armed with a machete stabbed three people at New York's Grand Central subway station on Saturday morning. Police shot and killed the suspect, identified as Anthony Griffin, after he refused orders to drop the weapon and advanced toward officers. An 84-year-old man suffered head injuries, a 65-year-old man had severe head injuries including skull fracture, and a woman was slashed on the shoulder. All three victims' injuries were not life-threatening. Authorities said the attacks appeared random.
