16 wounded in Turkey school shooting: 19-year-old former student opens fire before taking own life

What Happened
A 19-year-old former student shot 16 people at a vocational school in Siverek, Sanliurfa province, Turkey on Tuesday. Armed with a shotgun, he fired indiscriminately in the schoolyard and corridors before killing himself as police arrived. Ten students, four teachers, one police officer, and one canteen worker were injured. One teacher remains in serious condition. The suspect had no prior criminal record.
